We are an online shop selling sustainable mobility solutions, starting with the AppScooter (hereafter referred to as our ‘product’). All the options you have on our website, such as placing a pre-order, investing in us, becoming an influencer and signing up to receive news from us, are related hereto (the sale of the AppScooter and all related activities will hereafter be referred to as ‘services’).
While using our website and requesting any of the services we offer to you on our website, we collect personal data of you. We are the data controller with respect to this data, which means we determine the purpose of the processing of your personal data and are responsible for the correct handling of it.
How we collect and use data
Your personal data may be freely provided by you or collected automatically when using our website.
Usage data is collected automatically through this website (or third-party services employed in this website) and can include the IP addresses or domain names of the computers utilized by you, the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier), the time of the request, the method utilized to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server's answer (successful outcome, error, etc.), the country of origin, the features of the browser and the operating system utilized by you, the various time details per visit (e.g., the time spent on each page) and the details about the path followed within our website with special reference to the sequence of pages visited, and other parameters about the device operating system and/or your IT environment. Personal data freely provided by you, is the data you fill in when requesting any of the services that we offer. Unless specified otherwise, all data we ask for is needed to provide you with the service requested by you. Data for the processing of your pre-order
If you place a pre-order on our website, we ask you to fill in the details of your pre-order (color, motor, maximum speed), email address, phone number, address and payment details in order to send you an order confirmation, to keep you up to date with respect to your order and to deliver your order to you. This data is necessary for us to enter into a pre-order agreement with you. We retain the data until the agreement with you has been fully performed.
Data in relation to your investment in us
We are very happy if you want to invest in us! We want to make investing in us as easy as possible for you. But we need you to fill in certain personal data. We ask you to fill in the country you want to invest from, if you want to invest as an individual or as a company and your date of birth in order to check whether we are legally entitled to accept your proposed investment. If you are an individual investor, we also ask you to upload an ID document, such as a passport, driver's license or ID card. We use it for an identity and background check in order to detect and prevent fraudulent or unlawful activities. Furthermore, you have to fill in your name, email address, phone number, investment amount, initials, and payment details for the processing of your investment and to contact you in relation to your investment. The data is processed because it is necessary to enter into an investment-agreement with you, we have a legal obligation to do so and we have a legitimate interest (e.g. fraud checks) and shall be processed and stored for no longer as required by the purpose they have been collected for.
Data to become an influencer
If you want to become an AppScooter influencer, we ask you to fill in your name, email address, city you live in, social platforms you work with and your profile name, theme and amount of followers on these platforms. We need this data to be able to assess and respond to your application and, if your application is successful, to enter into an agreement with you. The processing of this data is based on the legitimate interest that we are able to assess your application - before entering into an agreement with you - and, thereafter, the data is necessary for the performance of the agreement with you. We shall process and store the data for no longer as required by the purpose they have been collected for and, thus, the data will be retained until after your assessment or until the influencer-agreement with you has been fully performed.
Data for sharing relevant information with you
If you want to be kept up to date on all of the latest Etergo and AppScooter news, events and more, you can subscribe to our newsletter. We need you to fill in your email address to be able to send you such information by email. The use of your email address for this purpose, is always based on your prior explicit consent. You can unsubscribe or update your email preferences anytime you want. We retain your email address until you unsubscribed for all mailing lists.
Data about contacting us
You can contact us in different ways, for example by phone, by using the contact form on our website or by sending us a message through social media. If you use the contact form on our website, we ask you to fill in your question, the topic of your question, your email address, your name and your phone number. All this data is necessary for our legitimate interest to get back to you, by either email or phone. Whatever contacting channel you choose, we will only process the data that is necessary for us to get back to you through that specific channel and we will process and store your data for no longer than necessary for this purpose.
